5 Days Review of Pomps Not Dead OG Pomade (English)

Scent / Aroma: Cool Water with a touch of woody scent and a hint of coconut water

The Goop: It is very easy to scoop out and become soft and creamy as you smear it.

Application:

- Day 1:
Hold and Endurance –

From the first time I scoop out this pomade, I have a good feeling that this pomade will do great for my current hair style. For the first day I’ve put on 4 scoops and I have no problem at all applying this pomade. It is a breeze.

For medium hold pomade, PND OG does give you a nice grip and hold. The most surprising moment is when I started to comb through my hair and styling it. It only took me less than 3 minutes to do so. And while I’m combing my hair I can feel the scent is spreading through and I really love this scent, very masculine and yet not so strong.

This is another great part of this pomade, the endurance. I usually start my day as early as 6:30 AM and it does last me until 5 PM without any splitting and I didn’t re-comb at all.

Slickness and Shine: It is REAL slick and neat, with medium shine that makes it more natural. It can be seen in the picture below.

- Day 2:

Before continuing to day 2, I just would like to let all you know that PND OG does have a good amount of waxiness for buildup. And when I touched my hair, it feels good, clean and non-greasy. And on day 2 I put on 3 scoops of PND OG to see how it performs. As I mentioned before, applying it is a glory. The scent, the easiness of application, and the TIME are EPIC. I have been outdoor and indoor for my activities today. And as for living in tropical country, this pomade does a good job, it does not slag during the heat and by the time I went back to the office. I can restyle it in no time at all, and let me tell you, after the heat, this pomade get much better while I re-style it. It can be seen in the Day 2 picture below.

- Day 3:

When I woke up on the day 3, I find this pomade looks greasy; however when I touch it, it is not greasy at all. And let me tell you about the buildup for PND is getting better and better the following day. This is great. I have a feeling that I don’t need much pomade to put on today. So there I go with only 2.5 scoops. And today it performs even better. I went out from 6:30 AM and come back home around 9 PM, It does not move at all. OMG, this is gooodddddd….. And if you notice on the Day 3 picture, it is really slick and super neat. Thumbs up for PND OG.

- Day 4:

During day 4, I put on only 2 scoops of PND OG. And yes the result is really amazing. This is what a pomade should be. Traditional is the word I’m looking for. Great Job, Mr. Edwin Carson. While I’m combing it through and styling it during day 4, the hold become really amazing it become stronger and the shine is OMG, I didn’t expect it to be this shiny. And again this pomade performs really well, I went outdoor mostly but my hair didn’t move much at all, I did a re-comb today because of my sweat etc. But look at the picture of Day 4. It is AMAZING.  

- Day 5

The buildup after day 4: waxy, shiny and yet it feels clean and non-greasy. And on day 5, I ONLY NEED JUST ONE SCOOP and a little water to style it. This is what I don’t really expect, it is really impressive. Again today, it performs really well, I was in out-door for more than 2 hours in 35 degrees Celsius heat, and it became really shiny when I get back and yet the hold is still there. I just need one or two sweep; yes the re-style is DONE NEAT. The picture of Day 5 is taken after re-styling it. Picture speaks more than words. AMAZING.

Overall: Pomps Not Dead OG Pomade is amazing and good quality mediums hold pomade. It is traditional pomade that gives you that slickness you need, natural shine, non-greasy and the amount of well performing waxiness
